Hi, I'm Zethu Radebe
Founder and owner of Zethu Grass Installation and Landscaping in Durban, KZN.
I was born in Hlokozi near Ixopo, where I grew up and attended school.
After matric, I obtained certificates in both Pest Control and HIV/AIDS Counselling, before moving into insurance; selling policies. But this did not give me the job satisfaction I craved.
Although I learned a lot when it comes to customer service and more at my insurance job, I believe my late mom taught me everything I needed to know about starting and running a business.
In 2019 I relocated from Cato Ridge to Shongweni Dam with my husband and son, and created my business Zethu Grass Installations.
Starting out with only two guys, today we are proud to employ a team of guys. We take pride in our work, I make sure we are always on time and feel follow-ups are very important.
The best part of my job is when I have laid the grass down and it looks lovely and neat. Everyone should have some greenery in their life – it just makes everything more beautiful!
